This property is pretty accurate based on the pictures! We had an easy check in and great communication from Carol. The pool area was nice and the beach was just a few minute walk. The property seemed pretty clean, the only thing we noticed were some spots on the bet sheets. But I felt like the place was cleaned well enough! We stayed for a few days and enjoyed our relaxing vacation!

Poor upkeep and absentee management
It took 4 attempts to reach Carol to get the code. Odor in room. Cigarette butts at front door. Floor dirty. Toilet dirty. Bathtub creaked and groaned under my 115 lbs. Towels thin. Murphy bed uncomfortable, and not securely set up. It collapsed to the floor under us 2 petite 60 year old ladies the first night. Found used Q-tip between mattress cover and bottom sheet. Was bed even changed??? Glasses had greasy fingerprints on them. Patio cluttered and dirty. Internet was out most of the time. The LOCATION was fabulous, though! Walked and biked to beaches, shops, restaurants! Just beautiful!

My property is cleaned by a professional service--You did not notify me about anything you are complaining about--I would have had the cleaning crew back out immediately. The WiFi works perfectly. Glad you actually appreciated our awesome location in Seagrove Beach.

The pictures do not properly describe the property. The unit reminded me of the 70’s. Needs updating and very dated. We could hear the upstairs person walking around from 2am until 5am and hard to sleep. Location was good. Owner very pleasant.

I knew the property was out-dated due to the pictures I viewed before booking, and the other guest reviews, but it was fine for a place to crash after beaching all day for 2.5 days. HOWEVER.. you would think when owning a business, renting a property, etc (anything in customer service really) you would know how to talk to people and be kind. I read 2 reviews stating if you had to talk to the property owner, she was rude. I dismissed it in my mind bc I just needed a quick place to stay for a few days. But the email I got about 3 weeks before the trip stated to call at check-in time and she would give you the code to the door. I called VRBO bc the email they (she) sent out did not have her phone number listed ANYWHERE in it. I read it twice, skimmed it a few times, and my husband also read it. When I called she was extremely rude saying she had never had anyone EVER call her for this problem and I told her I was very sorry but I read it multiple times and it wasn’t in there. She continued to argue with me for almost 12 minutes, making me feel stupid for even calling. She ended the phone call saying “I’ll call you at 4, how about that..” When she called at 4 she was rude again stating 3 more times that “My phone number was CLEARLY listed in the emailed, TWICE actually, that was sent in June. Whatever, water under the bridge.” Then gave me the code. Her tone changed and said my name was pretty so I’m sure you’re a pretty girl and I hope you give me a good review… ridiculous.

Nice little slice of heaven.
Carole's place was a great place to stay in Santa Rosa Beach. It was exactly how it is described in the listing. The beach access is right across the street and the pool was right outside the back door. Carole was quick to respond and very delightful to speak with. My family really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Another Great Stay
Carole was easy to get in touch with. Place was clean. Even the property manager was out keeping common areas clean. Only drawback is whoever is above you, but this time they were parents of small kids as well so nights were early and days were quiet for the most part. We’ll be staying again.

A little dated but spotless and very practical for our needs! The beach access is directly across the street. The pool is directly outside the back door. 30A is ideal for those who enjoy less touristy areas. Perfect for a couple. Great restaurants within walking distance. Publix is less than 5 min drive. Carole was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again!

Very dated and Dingy
This property was very dated. It really need a update. The decor was really dated. The furniture was old and nasty. The pullout sofa was very uncomforable. The springs were visible and uncomfortable. The trundle bed kept fall down. One time it fell on my foot. The stove was old/ dated it worked half of the time. The bath towels were very dingy. If you are going to use white towels use cleaner ones. The host said I could use the seasonings in the cabinet but they were so old and hard I could'nt use them. The fan in the living area we couldn't turn it off. Yes it was very close to the beach thats the inly good thing I really can say about this property.

This property does not have a trundle bed. Furniture purchased in 2020. Towels purchased 2 yrs ago. Condo is cleaned by a professional service. All appliances work perfectly. Ceiling fan with light is fully operational on a wall switch.

Ours was a short, 2-night. We stayed in the room since we were on the beach primarily for sleeping and a light breakfast and lunch on Saturday. The restaurants we ate at were merely blocks away from our room. This was just perfect for our needs.

This property was very nice and close to the beach, however lacked in a few areas. The wifi did not work at all even though it showed full bars. The tub inside the bathroom had very very poor drainage and was not up to the cleanest standards. Once we first walked in the room had an odd smell but that was something we looked past easily. Everything else was very nice, the property had a pool right outside as well and the owner was very sweet.

Carole charged me $125 for damage to her condo that does not exist. She will not respond to my messages or provide any evidence of the damage. DON'T STAY HERE unless you want unauthorized charges to your card. This place is a time capsule back to 1985. The furniture is obviously dated in the listing, but it's not just the furniture, the mattress, linens, and towels look like they haven't been replaced since the 1980's. The couches, blankets, and towels all have stains. I've never wanted to leave a vacation because the property was gross before staying here. The host has you call for the code to the door and when you do she solicits a good review from you in exchange for a discount if you book directly with her the next time. Don't risk it by booking here.

VRBO has documented damage case (with photo) and charged the repair to this guest; all handled by VRBO. Damage photo evidence was sent to guest. This property is professionally cleaned, nicely furnished, and maintained with new linens. Inaccurate bogus review by disgruntled guest who damaged kitchen cabinet of property then angry about paying for the damage.

The unit is very outdated and furniture isn’t clean. The floor is coming up in places. Base boards all need replacing. The entire unit needs to be completely renovated. The bathtub was broken and it felt like it was going to fall in while taking a shower. Things very unorganized. The microwave had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was pieces of food in it. The pillows on the bed smelled bad. You could hear every step the people above us took!! It’s like they were running a marathon everyday! Obviously no insulation…. Not sure I’d stay at this particular unit again but the location was great!

Carole is an awesome host. She definitely made our stay very comfortable and lovely. Condo was a great place for my mother/ daughter fun weekend. It’s clean and it stock with all we needed during our stay. Easy access to the beach was a plus. The pool was right in the backdoor which is really nice. Quaint an Enjoyable
Best to start with the "not-so" and finish positive. The condo is older and maintenance sometimes doesn't do the owner justice in that sheets were left out for the fold out sofa and we didn't get them until the last day. The shower has some slight drainage issues but nothing that 1/3 a bottle of Drano won't fix. And there's a 3 year old upstairs that runs non-stop except during 1pm naptime apparently. Not sure if they live there or were just visiting but they move furniture and run all day, but do quiet down at a good time as we had kids under 8 with us. BUT owner easy enough to get in touch with (get entrance code before you get there), microwave clean, fridge clean AND cold, stove gets hot in an instant, coffee maker super clean, smart tv easy enough to use especially if you have logins on apps like Vudu etc., A/C super cool, community pool right out back door and well kept, crossing street to beach was no problem, water was clear, mil pond smooth, beaches were clean, plenty of lifeguards and deputy sheriffs, parking to condo was right at the door for easy loading/unloading. Trips to Publix, Seaside and outlet were a piece of cake! Overall, my wife and I agree we'd stay again. It was a definite family memory.

Fun Beach Stop!
We needed a place to stay overnight as we were passing through and this spot was perfect. It was cozy for our family of 4. We enjoyed time on the beach, a short walk across the highway. It was beautiful! We also liked that there were restaurants in walking distance for dinner that allowed us to stretch our legs after sitting in the car all day. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful pool and beaches even more.

Location can't be beat!
Great spot for a family vacation. It was close quarters, but we didn't mind, because the beach is so close. The weather was beautiful. The pool area is very nice too, with a shaded area where you can have dinner outside if you like.

Great Location But....
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was really responsive to all my questions before we arrived. I've stayed in other units located at Hidden Beach Villa which were much more updated and kitchen better equipped. The closets were too full of owner things for us to use the for storage or hang clothing which is definitely a drawback in such a small unit. But, it's hard to beat the location at this price.

Great time! Great location!
We enjoyed staying at Hidden Beach Villa 131 for the past week. Our 6 year old son loved having the pool just outside the back door! Beach access is great and very convenient. There are about 20 steps down to the beach which was a surprise but manageable, thanks to the great boardwalk access. There were lots of other families staying at the complex which was great for us! It was also convenient to have the laundry room for the complex so easily accessible. We washed clothes on our last night so there's no big piles of laundry to tackle when we get home. If I had any criticism it would be the mattress on the Murphy bed, but we knew it was a Murphy bed going in, so my expectations were not extremely high. I highly recommend using the free shuttle at Grayton Beach if you plan to visit Seaside. We didn't have to search for a parking place or fight the traffic. We went up 395 to Hwy 98, took the next road back the the left, 283, and the free parking/shuttle pick up was right there!

We had the best time! Totally recommend staying here!
Excellent location right on 30A.Everything is in walking distance unless you would rather ride a bike. The condo has Everything you need to make your stay simple & relaxing. We had a great time and will definitely book again with sweet Carole. Thank you for a beautiful stay and making our vacation so awesome!

Great beach location
Perfect for a couple wanting a cute little beach getaway. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Pool was a little cool when we visited, but it’s right outside the patio door. We used the laundry and that was clean and handy. Just a short walk to the beach. If you’ve never been to seagrove beach, it’s about 35 steps down to (and up from) the beach. But it’s worth it. Just a mile to Seaside. Carole is great to work with!

Simply fantastic!
We had the best experience with Carole and this property. It is perfectly located, fully stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Carole was so accommodating and helpful with the check in process and also after when my husband left his watch behind! The place was clean, nicely decorated, very quiet and serene, parking was easy, and we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Carole! We will be back!

Property is depicted in pictures as separate bed room, sitting area and kitchen where as the entire setup is within one room. The floor tiles are coming apart, this property is on the ground level but there is another on the top level which is extremely noisy a d floor creaks. Bathroom faucets were leaking in the sink and the bath tub is bows down when you stand on it making it extremely unsafe to stand on let alone take a shower. Once these areas are fixed up- property can certainly be used however in its present condition is not safely usable.
