I have stayed in this hotel many times and it's sad to say, but it seems as if the care and safety of the customer is NOT TOP PRIORITY ANYMORE. The check in process took a bit longer than usual as they were trianing someone but that was understood. Michael Mina''s restaurant was great, had dinner there twice and our bartender was absolutely amazing! We had massages that evening at Lapis so we dropped off our belongings in the room and headed towards the pool area. At around 3pm went to grab my purse to go back to the room to shower and change as our appt for the massages was for 5:30pm. I couldn't find my purse where I had left it about 2 feet from where we were in the pool. The gentleman that empties the dirty towel bins saw me searching and asked what I was looking for and found my purse inside the dirty towel bin as if someone had tossed it there. When we got to Lapis for our massages I was informed that my card (bank card) was declined, went in my purse to grab my card holder and realized it was gone, went back to the room to check and nothing. That is when I realized that someone went in my purse, took my card holder and dumped my purse in the dirty towel bin. Called my bank and Amex right away to cancel them. I informed the hotel security manager, Al Doresett, was told by him to take pictures of the area and send them to him and he would check the cameras. NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT THE SITUATION. I was in a hotel where I was robbed and NO ONE CARED, was left with NO DRIVER
