"A convenient and affordable Pacific Highway stop, if slightly off the beaten track. The place is fine but we did feel it was perhaps a little over-marketed in the listing. The “futon” was more of a sofa (I did manage to sleep on it after requesting extra bedding), “free breakfast” was two pods for the coffee machine, pizza was not available after 6pm and if there was a beach we didn’t find it (at least 4 miles away). "Solvang Vinland Hotel was a pleasant experience. Pet friendly and walking distance to the entire town. The room was not ready at the 3pm check in so we were unable to freshen up for our 4pm dinner reservation. The area is very quiet and cool at night. Despite the delayed check in, we would stay at this hotel again. "
