The property turned out to be a little different than I thought but in the end I very much appreciated its location and excellent value. My local contact, Martina, was very responsive to any questions I had and provided all kinds of great information about events and happenings. For older folks it’s a bit of a walk to central Sorrento, but the train station is 200 yards away and buses run back and forth down the Corso Italia. Also, the neighborhoods of St Agnello are great and without the crowds. The best coffee bar I’ve experienced in 7 weeks in Italy is right by the train station. And I had the best mussels and pasta meal in Italy just around the corner. This spot is perfect for a younger couple looking for affordable and good value.

My stay was not very pleasant. The water in the bathroom was quite temperamental - alternating between hot and cold - which made showering very uncomfortable. Additionally, the floor throughout the property was quite sticky, which added to the discomfort.
