Food was mediocre, typical resort food. Not buffet style so you have to ask for everything. Rooms below average design n vibe, it was giving dated. Not so family friendly regarding activities. Small lobby, nothing for kids to do outside of the swimming pool, making evenings challenging when pool is closed. Only 2 guest elevators for the whole property, long lines to get to and from the room. Location is okay, safe and about 15 minutes to central/malecon. Staff friendly after tips. Overall I’d say it was basic. Wouldn’t go back or recommend. Didn’t hate it just used to higher end experiences.

We had a wonderful time at this resort! The rooms were big and very nice. This place is very kid friendly! The staff was amazing! Don’t have a single complaint about the service. I’ve seen a few negative reviews about the food but we all loved it! Every night for dinner, they’d switch it up. One night was Oriental night, Italian the next, Tex-Mex…. Absolutely delicious. The beach was breathtaking, crystal clear water and they had servers on the beach who’d bring you drinks. They were amazing! The only negative thing I can say, was that there was construction on one side of the resort. The seafood restaurant was closed because of this as well at the second pool. Wish we would’ve been informed about this when we booked. Overall we really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back someday.
