Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to San Martino?
The best time to go to San Martino, Liguria, Italy is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are thinner.

During these shoulder seasons, you'll experience comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the Ligurian coastline and its charming towns without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. The sea is still warm enough for swimming in early autumn, and the spring brings blossoming flowers to the landscape. This allows for a more relaxed and enjoyable trip, particularly for couples looking for a romantic getaway or travellers who appreciate a quieter experience.

For those who enjoy the buzz of a summer holiday and don't mind warmer temperatures and more people, July and August are also popular. This is when the town is at its most lively, with all restaurants and shops fully open, and the beaches are bustling.
