But the place needs serious work, going beyond the typical dated decor you find in PB. The electric range burners tilt on the stovetop and are unsafe. There’s a gritty feeling on the floors and tabletops. Some of the cookware is greasy and stored on unlined old wood shelves. The dish drain was so filthy we just didn’t bother to use it. The only real issue was crossing the street to the beach, but that's not on the home itself. I'm used to staying closer to the boardwalk, but the quiet at night was a really good trade. Wonderfully close to the beach with a nice yard for our dog to run around while we ate our meals at the outside table with an ocean view.
