Room smelled really bad, Staff was not friendly or helpful. I checked in very late in evening. As the smell got unbearable I called and asked the front person if he can send someone check or fix the problem, he told me he could not help nor anyone can until morning.Well it was late at night, so I ended up staying there and checked out first things in morning. Wont recommend.

The lady at the front desk was very help and accommodating to our workers. She was very helpful in a small problem we had having booked the reservation online. Will be coming back.

This is one of the most unsafe place I have ever stayed in in a long time and I travel a lot. I was literally scared. There is a sign on the door to lock and deadbolt for your safety. And I understood why. People that have likely been evicted live there full time. There are weird looking people just hanging in theirs cars at night, probably drug dealings and playing loud hip hop in the parking lot, homeless right around the property, people fighting and banging doors in the middle of the night. Or randomely banging at your door. I will never stay there again. Staff was nice but this was such a scary place and I felt unsafe and did not get any sleep for three night due to the noise level outside the rooms,

Pretty much a dump.
The outside of the building is filthy and the people out there were pretty riff raffy. It's a motel 6 so you can't expect much. The rooms are run down and dirty. And my non-smoking room still smells like smoke. But you get when you pay for!

I got there thinking it was a family oriented hotel, and upon arriving to the parking lot, due to the presence of people dressed in a certain way indicate that it might not just be family oriented, but more adults only. I express my desire to move forward to another hotel and ask politely to get reimburse cause I was not sleeping there with my mother, after a couple phone calls with Expedia and the hotel, I got a straight no.

Had to wait 45 minutes outside of the locked office at check-in time. TV worked 5 minutes per hour. No amenities. No coffee maker, no shampoo, no blow dryer, etc Do yourself a favor and find a good hotel

Room had a weird smell, I had to leave window and door open with bathroom exhaust running to air it out. There was no hot water during my stay, but that's temporary I guess.

I waited 10 minutes at the desk for someone to help me with check in. I rang the bell twice and nobody came out from the back to help me. I can hear them talking and laughing in the back. Bed was comfortable and was very convenient to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
