After reading many reviews where the property was rated poorly for numerous reasons, I almost did not book my stay there. BUT I could not find fault with anything during our stay from 4th-9th May. Check in was a breeze where we were upgraded to a better suite because of our Expedia gold membership. After a long day traveling I forgot a bag down at reception and they called the room and sent it up with security. The following morning my daughter went to take an early morning swim and messaged to tell me the towels were not to be found. I called the front desk and they immediately sent two guys to sort it out. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The suite was huge with a ton of closet space and a Lavazza coffee machine where they even provided us with decaf pods. I requested a kettle as I always walk with teabags and that was quickly sent up to the room as well. There were absolutely no issues with the hot water situation that was mentioned in a lot of complaints in the previous reviews.
There is construction ongoing in the dining facilities but it did not bother us as we did not need to dine there, nor did the noise interrupt our stay. On the weekend there was a lot of loud music coming from across the road, but you could not hear it in the room. All in all....a perfect stay there as it is extremely well located.
