The hotel location was excellent, right on the RiverWalk, within walking distance to The Alamo and great eating and drinking establishments. The hotel bar, restaurant and amenities were point on! La mansion and its staff were so attentive and helpful. The upkeep of such historic facilities is tedious , your staff have used specialized care and followed strict regulatory procedures and it is evident that there is ongoing maintenance to balance modern safety needs and still preserve the original architecture. We will continue to stay at your historic hotel as long as possible.

The staff were fantastic, exceptionally kind. Our granddaughters were delighted by the pool, afternoon treats, and kid gift bags. They begged us to stay another day. Parking was a breeze, even with the volume of guests on a holiday weekend. The location, of course, could not be better. And I took advantage of the spa discount at the sister property.

Classy landmark hotel with helpful, friendly and excellent staff. The central location is perfect for visiting the Riverwalk and downtown which enhances the experience especially for small families. Valet parking is a must, but can be slow during the busy hours. We parked across the street at the city parking lot. The restaurant on the first floor offers a flawlessly executed menu. The lobby bar is cozy and well stocked.

Property was extremely clean especially being an older hotel. The staff were very friendly as well as helpful as we dealt with 2 kids on their first San Antonio trip. Location was ideal as the river walk is just steps outside of the hotel. Will definitely be back soon.

Fabulous hotel right on the Riverwalk - was able to relax on the verandah watching the bustle of people walking by. Room was very clean and comfortable, and staff very courteous and helpful. Definitely come back next time we visit San Antonio!

What an amazing experience! From the time the valet opened the door for us, helped unload our baggage, bring it to our rooms then the front desk staff upgrading and allowing us an early check in! We had such a great stay, and will definitely be back again soon!! Such a beautiful hotel and the best staff we have encountered in a while at a hotel! 20/10! ☺️ Shout out to Adam in valet and Patrick the valet/bell hop! Extremely professional and so nice! 👍

Room was clean and the staff was around to help. Very easy access to the river walk and to the downtown area. Valet parking was expensive ($55 per night) but the valet staff was friendly and took good care with vehicles.
