The breakfast was very good, if expensive (welcome to France). After multiple trips to breakfast restaurants to eat bread and coffee, having eggs and bacon was a real treat. Yes I am from Canada. Shower was new and relatively roomy. Small room, but well layed out, and we enjoyed 2 twin beds.

A basic hotel near a highway and close to a shopping center. One may use it as a base for exploring nearby attractions including Mont-Saint-Michelle, Bayeux and other places. A good tasty breakfast.

Value Hotel. close proximity to Mt. St. Michel
Very close to St. Michel. 20 minutes by car (required). There is a nice restaurant next door.

We weren't sure about staying this far from the Mont St Michel, but it was a great experience with good facilities and great staff. It was one of the best values for our dozen hotel stops on this vacation.

Overall it’s a good place to stay. The bathroom and shower is like a ready made full set of plastic room installed in the room, kind of like the one on aeroplane which is a bit weird and it gave you the smell you smell it in the aeroplane toilet. 19 minutes drive to the Mont Saint Michel car park where you take a shuttle to the island.

The room was very small and dark. A tiny window made the room feel very dark. Only a black out blind and curtain which is great if you want complete darkness. Breakfast was fine, but an expensive stay for not much special. There are other Ibis’ in different locations for better value.

Good hotel that was close to Mont Saint Michel (15 minutes by car). The hotel was very clean, the food was good and the staff very helpful.

All satisfying but there was a communication problem between reception and Hotels.com. It led to paying twice for the room and resulted in getting refund. Didn't have to go through this.

Good nights sleep - very quiet for area & clean.
One night stop over on way to St Malo - besides being next to busy dual carriageway / motorway it was very quiet and peaceful. Did not take breakfast as we decided it was too expensive especially for two of us. But yes, good staff, good room, good nights sleep!

Clean and tidy, very handy for the motorway, ferry docked at 9 30 pm and we arrived at 11 20 to find the bar closed, It would have been nice to have a drink and unwind, but that was the only thing.apart from that everything else was ok

Small room, no a/c, not enough toiletries, they ask you to pay for breakfast even if you didn't have it! They do not apologize for the mistake, no smiles, french hospitality... They should travel to North America to learn more about customer service and put a smile on your sad faces ladies, it doesn't hurt!

Hotel clean and reasonably comfortable for the price. Breakfast had a good and fresh selection. Resturant on site although not a large choice the food on the menu was prepared with excellently, staff member in restaurant in evening was wonderful. Other staff at the hotel were helpful, professional and pleasant.

Staff and food made it feel a higher star rating
Ibis provided an extremely good value choice near Mont St Michel. Staff were excellent, in particular Maitre de at dinner who provided character. We had intended to go out for dinner however food was much better than expected and excellent value. Room were simple with the bathroom being modular (like it was dropped in), however, it was clean, modern and better than many 3 star style hotels. Food and reataurant staff made it feel you were staying in a much higher level star rated hotel. Heating was fine and room could be cooled by opening secure window. Note no air con. Close to freeway however with window closed it was silent and walls solid between rooms. Would recommend (if peak summer need to take into account lack of cooling and road noise if window open).

The weather was nice so it was a bit stuffy but the window was so large it invited bugs during the night. We killed 2. We borrowed a small electric fan but it didn't help much on the stuffiness. The room we requested had one double and one twin bed in a room which was supposedly for just a double or two twin beds. We eventually did not sleep on the folded twin extra bed because of the human hairs covering the bed. It was just one night so we didn't bother to do much about all these. Will definitely try another hotel if we had to visit the area again.

An excellent Ibis!
Very helpful staff - stored our bikes - no problem. Easy walk to a Carrefour shopping centre. Had excellent evening meal in restaurant and fantastic breakfast in morning which set us up for another days cycling along the Veloscenic route. Recommend it as an excellent stopover.

Pleasant hotel. Very conveient to Le Mont St . Mic
We arrived at 21.00hrs. having had an evening meal so we did not need a meal. However we were able to have relaxing drink in the small but adequate bar. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all very pleasant.

Fantastic manager and staff, great food and wine in the restaurant, clean spacious bedroom what more could we ask for? Maybe tea and coffee making facilities would be nice in the room, however we only had to ask.

Great stay at Ibis Mont St Michel
The manager was welcoming and sorted out our mess up over hotel bookings straightaway and ensured a relaxed stay. Food in the restaurant was great and with good wines; when the hotel didn't have my wine choice they substituted a premium wine for same price. With free wifi and and clean well appointed rooms it was a pleasure and we will definitely stay again.
