"We had a really bad experience at Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedrale. The service in the restaurant was among the worst we have seen in all our life. In the end when paying the bill the guy had the cheek to ask us we wanted to sign a separate bill for the tip as he could not add the tip to the main bill! We firmly and politely said no. That experience just ruined our whole stay and we cannot give any better marks than what we have done. We would appreciate it if the hotel could reply and include an e-mail address to a manager to whom we can send a more detailed feedback of our experience."

"The room was small but adequate . The air conditioner wasn’t working , only blew hot air and as it had been 27 degrees that day it was a very hot unpleasant night . We had to sleep with window open , the road noise was awful and the a car alarm went off . We hardly slept . The light switch on the bedside light was broken so I couldn’t switch it on to read . All in all an awful night with not much sleep . With a very long drive back to the uk the next day it wasn’t ideal . Teception was closed at the time so I couldn’t rectify any of this at the time "

"Chaînes télé limitées, surface des chambres juste ce qu’il faut, pas la place pour mettre les sacs, salle de bain et toilette ensemble, pas possible d’être malade et de vouloir être propre ! On nous demande si on veut que la chambre soit faite pour 2 jours ? Sinon personnel agréable, réactif lorsqu’il manque quelque chose au petit dej, a réussi à me trouver une autre chambre à un autre étage, petit coin bar agréable. On ne peut pas demander la lune pour 79€ la nuit "

"Decent breakfast, good walking distance to sights. Dinner was good. Parking garage was a bit nerve-wracking to get into but nice to have a spot. Staff were pleasant."
