"We stayed for 3 nights and the host Jean-Pierre & Daisy were fantastic, their three Basset Hounds were very cute & friendly. Our room was facing a farmland probably north so less heat in the afternoon, an electric fan was just about enough for 3 nights during the heatwave. The swimming pool is fabulous with a stunning view overlooking the valley, can’t ask for more, the pool side bar is also a nice feature if you want to leave beers in the fridge while swimming."

"Fantastic experience at a gorgeous chateau! Pros: • Stunning, eel maintained property with courteous staff and excellent service. • Beautiful rooms—the balcony had incredible vineyard views. • World-class spa treatments (some of the best I've ever had!). • Great location near Saint-Émilion with e-bike rentals and a hotel shuttle. • Easy day trips to Bordeaux (45–60 mins away) via hotel-arranged transport. • Gourmet dining on-site. Cons: • Room service options are a bit limited. Tip: Book your restaurant and terrace tables well in advance, especially for weekends. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

"This is a rustic, two bedroom cottage property about a 35 minute walk (uphill!) to St Emilion old town. Located in the the vineyards, it's fine if you have a bicycle or similar. It's only 5 mins by car but then you have parking to deal with in the town. It's on a slightly dusty track to don't arrive in heels or immaculate white clothing. Warmly welcomed by Hassan, his wife and daughter, I was shown the shared downstairs area and my room. They do not live on the property. No elevator obviously so hope your bag is light (mine wasn't!). Rooms are pleasant and have good air conditioning. Hassan offers wine for sale and Dinner is available if you want. It's a Moroccan themed dinner but I didn't try it myself. I was asked to change rooms when here when another guest arrived that needed two beds (Hassan had given me the room with multiple beds) which I wasn't very happy about to be honest but it was a relatively small inconvenience I suppose. Breakfast is available for 8 euros and it's OK but TBH pretty basic. Everything worked out fine for my two night stay. If I were to offer any suggestions it might be to clean and redecorate the downstairs area which feels a little cluttered (There's a drumset in the corner if you're so-inclined!!). Overall, I'd score it 6.75/10. It was fine as long as you're not expecting somewhere shiny and new feeling."

"This is a beautiful hotel combining traditional France with a twist of Rugby memrobillia. The staff were extremely helpful but also didn’t interfere with our stay. Would recommend this hotel in the beautiful St. Emilion."

"I liked very much this hotel affordable close to St Emilion 5 minutes drive was perfect. Room comfortable nothing fancy but for 2 nights ok clean well design nothing was missing. Staff at reception very nice and answer everything we asked"
