The two larger airports at Brussels, Brussels Airport (BRU) and Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL), have a much larger intake of flights with plenty of low-cost airlines to choose from. These two airports also have brilliant train connections to Bruges with the journey time taking approximately one hour. In addition, Charleroi Airport offers a low-cost shuttle service.
If you decide to fly to one of the airports at Brussels, you could also spend a day in the capital city itself and take a stroll through the magnificent Grand Place. With its Gothic and Baroque architecture, the Grand Place is one of the Belgium's finest tourist attractions and a sight to behold.
