It wasn’t clear in the listing how far the house was from the water. It is a short walk but details should be a bit clearer. "My spouse and I decided to stay further outside of the city visiting Montreal for extra peace and quiet. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee next to the lake. The home is well-appointed without being flashy. The beds were firm and comfortable—plenty of amenities including a fully appointed kitchen and cookware. The host was prompt and attentive, offering us to stay past checkout if needed. 10/10 would recommend."

"We had a great stay over the holiday break! Located in a quiet area, lots of great areas for us to take our dog for a walk. Pet friendly was a major factor for us and worked out well. Cottage is cozy and was great for spending time altogether over the holidays. Very responsive communication from host made it possible to extend our stay for an additional day. Thanks! "

"This newly updated 1 bedroom house was a great home base for visiting friends in Valleyfield. It is on a quiet and safe street with easy access to the main Boul. near stores and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and basic supplies allow you to cook if you like. The TV is not hooked up to anything so we had to use our phone as a hotspot to access our Direct TV service-a bit wonky and inconvenient, but it worked. Overall a great value when visiting Valleyfield."
