"Really nice break, brilliantly equipped cottage with a nice private garden at back. We were left a cream tea on arrival. Walked to the local pub and had a fantastic meal one night. (Golden Lion). Nice walk into Ottery St Mary the other day, Sidmouth 6mile away which is a lovely town. Would recommend and we will go again."

"Excellent accommodation with super swimming pool, gym and sauna etc. Fantastic views of the countryside from the gardens, great local pubs with easy acesess to Tiverton and Bampton. Plenty of information available on things to do and places to eat supplied in a handy folder."

"We have stayed at the cottage several times and we love it! The cottage is immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a towel in the porch for muddy dog paws. The weather was mixed but we managed to go walking every day. Walked up to North Hill and saw some lovely Exmoor ponies and our dog loved playing on Dunster beach. We will definitely be back."

"Cannot fault this lovely property right on the banks of the river! We stayed a week at the Nest. It is more spacious than it appears. It is beautifully appointed with stylish decor and a sumptuously comfortable bed. There is a good size lounge and dining area with log fire, to cosy up and read a book. "A beautiful cottage. All amenities catered for. Big garden next to us, view spectacular. Was not informed others may use garden, so beware if in bedroom. Difficult to find entrance to property. Lanes near property with large potholes, burst our tyre. No phone signal. But use of wifi. A very clean modern cottage, would recommend."

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"We had a fabulous few days staying at the lodge. It was perfect for our needs with an excellent kitchen. The hosts, Isobel and William were incredible and very accommodating of our children who wanted to run around a lot in the gardens and in the river too as well as any anything we needed during our stay too. "Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group...
