"Booked 3 double rooms on the 2nd floor, rooms were smaller than expected with walking space in the entrance quite tight but plenty of hanging soace and desk space. Bathroom was good size and sufficient for 2 adults. There are 2 lifts which are ok size and quite slow to arrive and leave considering the building is only 3 floors high. The hotel has 24/7 reception and staff were very helpful and professional. Parking is plentiful but can get surprisingly full at times. Parking price is £12 for 24 hours which is expected for city centre hotel. There is a nearby parking above the hotel parking which is private and not part of the hotel so beware if you want to park there. Overall clean and pleasant stay, hotel decor is a little outdated in places and brand of hotel suggests it would be better quality but overall it is good quality."

Unfortunately those things mean we don’t get a proper nights sleep. 1: the shower suddenly started to drip in the middle of the night, not once but twice. Both times lasting around 5 mins. The second time I would not stop and I had to turn the shower on for a few seconds and off again to make it stop. 2. There was a flash and small blip from the fire alarm. Again, this happened more than once through the night. Everything else was good (save a slow check in but they were busy) and if not for these issues it would be 5 stars. However, such a disturbed sleep made the stay somewhere I am dubious to return to. "
