"Couldn't resist the name. The hotel was in the perfect location for a short trip in York. It was walkable to everything but still tucked away enough that I didn't have to worry about loud people all night. Fair warning this hotel doesn't have an elevator, only stairs so if you're like me and tend to over pack - you've been warned. That being said staff were super helpful in bringing my luggage up and down the stairs. Would gladly stay here again."

"First stay here for a party in Brighouse. Superb welcome from staff on arrival and shown to our room. Accommodation is across the road from the pub and events so nice and quiet and a great space at the front of the building for a evening drink. Very interesting range of ales and other drinks in the pub and an excellent breakfast. "Excellent stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till we left. A very pet friendly hotel, the staff went out of their way to please the dogs as much as us. Food was excellent we loved the breakfast. Ample parking in the public car park. We would recommend and hopefully we will return. "

"My single room was compact but clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were the most friendly I’ve ever encountered, nothing was too much bother. "The room was minimalistic with a wet room bathroom and very comfortable bed with quiet surroundings so had a good nights sleep.The breakfast was cooked fresh to customer’s request. No cereals were offered but fruit juice was on the table when we arrived. Overall good value for money and helpful staff. Flowers outside were welcoming."

They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay.
