Largely restored or rebuilt 1873, it is a grade II listed building. Internally there is a late medieval coffered nave ceiling of massive moulded beams with carved bosses, and a font dated 1662.

I would stay again for a business trip. My only negative was arriving and asking for dinner at 20.10 to be told they only had one chef and he was too busy to make any more food. "
