"It is a lovely property on a great location. It works like a well oiled machine until you ask for something out of the ordinary. Porridge made with normal milk was too challenging I felt. Yes they would be showing the England match - so we cancelled our booking elsewhere. Then they didn’t show it."

"We had a wonderful stay in June in the woodlands chalet which featured a big hot tub and a huge comfy bed. The chalet was clean and modern, with all the essentials you could want provided such as tea, milk, biscuits and dishwashing liquid. The staff were all wonderful. We found our private courtyard with the hot tub was hot upon arrival and a great afternoon suntrap. It's just a 10 minute walk to local restaurants, cafes, cute shops, a bakery, a fantastic deli and some pubs. There is a train station close by and also plenty of parking including electronic car chargers. Only feedback would be that the breakfast was average (not a problem as we had full self catering facilities) and the automatic lights (on our porch and the internal hallway) we could not turn off which was frustrating when getting up in the night. Overall would thoroughly recommend."
