Here’s what you should know if you book a room here. You need to climb 2 sets of stairs before you get to the small elevator. If you can’t climb the stairs, you can’t get to the room.
Also, the room door doesn’t automatically lock when you’re in it. You have to physically lock the door with a key from the inside. Our first day there someone opened our door when we were in bed. I was not happy and I felt unsafe. We figured out that the room didn’t automatically lock when you close the door like doors at hotels do in England, Mexico, Canada, or America, almost anywhere we have ever stayed.
That was the negative, the positive is that the people there were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with a small step down from the entryway to the bedroom area. Location was amazing and very central within walking distance of so many historical sites! Restaurants in the area were also amazing and very authentic. We would stay here again now that we know some of the negatives, but bring less luggage!
