Great place to stay outside of Central Rome. Wonderful fish restaurant is in walking distance. Beautifully decorated room. Alessandro was very helpful providing info about breakfast and lunch places. Please be aware that breakfast service is not offered, and there is no coffee machine in the room.
Located on a small hill, this beautiful building is quiet and peaceful. By bus, you can reach Rome's tourist attractions in just 30 minutes. It is especially suitable for a relaxing stay of a few days or more.

This is a special place for the discerning traveller. Beautifully kept and in a quiet place away from the crowds. Would recommend. Thank you for a perfect stay!
The staff were amazing from the Manager Alexandro to our day staff Alberto they were friendly, helpful and attentive. Great location with walking to grocery and services. You use taxi, metro, walk to anywhere in Rome. The house and suite are artwork themselves, hand cut parquet beautiful floors. AC,porch,a great retreat after a long day in Rome. We will be back
I would stay here again. Safe and quiet. Also, the room was roomy (twice the size of the hotel room I stayed in in the city center) and not stuffy (so no ventilation issues, unlike the other place I stayed at).
Some practical things to keep in mind:
1. An official white taxi from the city center to Suite Oriani, metered, cost me around 11 euros while an Uber (either a true Uber or the same taxi through the Uber app) would ask for 14 to 22 euros. So, maybe don't take Uber to the hotel since taxis are easy to catch in the center of the city.
2. I did have an eye mask with me, which I recommend bringing because there are no blackout curtains and you might have a building with lights across the street.
3. Water in the shower might not be hot, sometimes lukewarm, but is totally OK imo, at least in October when it's warm. No idea how it is in the colder months, so maybe inquire ahead of time if it's a concern.
4. City tax is collected at the end in cash. Make sure to have cash ready for that.
5. Suite Oriani offers a wash-and-fold laundry service, but (a) make sure you then request it with enough time for your clothes to air dry as there is no drier (and hang-air-drying is the norm in Italy), and (b) you will, I think, need cash for that too, so ask the owner ahead of time.
Transportation to Rome's city center is easily accessible by bus or subway, less than 30 minutes. Located in a quiet area with many embassies, it's quiet and safe. The facilities are clean and well-equipped. This apartment is perfect for those who want to relax and unwind in Rome.
This is a very clean and accommodating hotel, almost like a Bed and Breakfast in a quiet nice residential setting. The staff are excellent and the rooms are very nice and maintained.
The room was spacious compared to those in the center of the city. However, the hotel is far from most tourist attractions. You could not find the staff who can speak English most of the time. The selection of breakfast was limited. I stayed here just because the hotel is close to the auditorium, where the conference was held. I may come back if I had to go to the auditorium. If for tourism, I will not.
Excellent host, explained details for sightseeing, including maps. Available to answer questions.
God selection of restaurants in the area. Easy access to public transportation. General overview Excellent.
a wonderful place to stay, easy access to public transport but there is a hill to negotiate - however they will organise a private car if needed. the room was lovely and the service was great

Disappointing would be the word to sum up my stay. Too bad as the property could be charming. Good location. BUT you are served breakfast only in your room. Your not welcome in any other areas/grounds. It’s actually a bit creepy.

Beautiful villa in a quiet neighborhood
Suit Oriani is outside of central Rome in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. It’s 15 - 20 minutes walk to train station and one stop train ride puts you in central Rome. Be aware of last train which I think it’s 10:22pm. We felt safe walking from and to the train station at night.
It’s is a beautiful villa with several guest rooms. Friendly people who run the B&B. Breakfast is served in the room. I think it would be a nice and romantic place for couples but a little small for us with a teenager.
We loved it here. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was great! A little bit far from the sites. But the metro was a 5 minute walk. Super easy to use. Very quiet. Not being a city girl, it was perfect. Would stay there again.
Everything good thing you read about Suite Oriani is true. Quiet upmarket location, beautiful period Art Nouveau furnishings, run and staffed by great people. A Roman oasis to come home too after the crowds in the city.
