The staff was very helpful & allowed us to leave luggage as we arrived early. They even let us check in an hour before the normal time which was very appreciated after a long overnight of travel. They were very knowledgeable about the city and gave us a map tour highlighting all the areas. There is a lounge with a bathroom and water / espresso which was nice. The room had a strong scent of room spray when we first arrived which seemed like it was trying to cover something up but it dissipated relatively quickly and was fine the next day. We would stay here again!

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and there are tons of dining and shopping options very close. There is an older elevator that only goes to the fifth floor of the six floor building. You must be able to walk upstairs. Air-conditioning worked. Safe worked well in the room with coffee and a mini bar and a great little balcony. Overall great experience.

Pros - Excellent location, central to everything Great view from balcony Clean Comfortable bed Air Con Good sized room for the 3 of us Helpful staff Lobby area with seating, water toilets and shower if needed for late flights Slight grievance - Air Con is noisy if you are a light sleeper. Thin walls to other room Lift will only take 2 people so you get your steps in going to the 5th floor Main street below so you will hear normal city noise

We booked and paid for a room advertised with an exterior city view and a balcony. Instead, we were given a dark, cold interior room with no windows other than a skylight and a picture of the Colosseum on the wall. Completely different from what was advertised. When I raised this with reception after check-in, the staff member actually laughed and told me I wouldn’t have paid that price for a room with a balcony. She then blamed Hotels.com for “booking the wrong room” rather than taking any responsibility or offering a solution. Her attitude was rude, dismissive and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, despite advising the hotel in advance that we required a cot for our child, they had “forgotten” to provide one. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was cold and dark, and the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. This was not a minor misunderstanding, it was a room that did not match what we booked, combined with a complete lack of care or accountability from the staff. Between the misleading advertising, poor room conditions and appalling customer service, I would strongly advise others to book elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels that will treat their guests with far more honesty and respect. When we did reach out to hotels.com they were amazing but my recommendation is not to book this hotel in the first place.
