Really really good location for both tourist sites and other local spots. We were able to walk everywhere we needed from the room. Comfortable and clean room though on the smaller side. Only challenge was front desk is not staffed all day, so check in was a bit difficult. But they were very responsive.

The property host was very helpful and customer first. We were running late and the property manager was able to communicate with us via whatsapp to guide us into our room. The room had AC and very clean. I really enjoyed our stay here, central to many of the must see landmarks in Rome.

Staff was very helpful. Location was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. The coffee pods were a great touch. There are shower gels which was great but if you’re particular you might want to bring your own shampoo/conditioner. The air conditioner worked VERY WELL which is very much appreciated in this heat. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Location was great! Room was easy to access as we arrived late and left early so we used mobile check in instructions. Only strange thing was an open bag of chips left in room when we arrived- other than that the room seemed clean. Nice spacious bathroom as well.

Clean and housekeeping was excellent, AC was great in our room, however, not so good in our friends rooms. Desk is supposed to be staffed from 9am-ish to 4pm-ish, but not the case. Elevator is very small and older, but worked fine. Area is awesome, lots of restaurants, shops, etc. Great location.

We stayed here for three nights and the location was excellent. It is surrounded by many restaurants, cafes and great boutique shops. It's s 15min walk to many attractions including the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Vatican City, and the Colosseum. The room is modest in size, but has everything you need. The air conditioning was very welcome in the summer heat. The only complaints we have are that the TV remote didn't work properly and there was an intermittent buzzing noise that would come from the wall/air conditioner. It was ok for us, but could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would use this property again next time we're in Rome.

First time in Europe as a solo traveler. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Had no idea on the elevator access so I hauled my luggage up the 4 floors of stairs. No staff to greet but helpful there was a message sent about how to access the room. Overall, clean room and bathroom. Great view of the outside and buildings. Close to pharmacy and local store for any small things needed. (though if you don't know Italian, might need to use translator). Location is great as it's close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. But small alleyway so it's difficult for ubers to get to. They will drop you off nearby and then have to haul your luggage through cobblestone to find the hotel. Thankfully found a staff member in the morning to store my luggage after check-out time and she was very friendly.

Absolutely loved it here! Would have loved to stay longer as it was in the perfect location - close to everything, but with its own tucked away neighborhood. The room was breezy, clean, light and with every amenity you might need. Natalia was so kind and so helpful. She made an already amazing experience even better! Daplace is lucky to have her!

The front door said to ring bell and we’d be let in. Did this many times, but no response. A woman walks up and just pushes it open. Door is broken and doesn’t lock. Stairs up to elevator, half flight. European elevator but to be expected in older buildings. Half flight of steps down to the room. Room was clean and decent amenities. Coffee wasn’t restocked when room was cleaned and since it is remotely managed there is no way to fix issues within an hour or two. The shower didn’t drain quickly and eventually stopped. I text the number for assistance and they text back and said a repairman was notified. It was repaired the morning before we were leaving. I guess the moral of all this is a great location but with remote management there is a 36 hour lag if you have an issue with the room. But, all that said, I’d stay here again. After figuring all the flaws out, it was a decent stay.

The Daplace - La Mongolfiera Rooms were just what we hoped for and expected It was quite a busy area but we didn't mind the commotion The staff (Natalia I think?) was very helpful and got us checked in even though it was off-hours and we couldn't complete the online check in ahead of time due to travel with no internet Our group stayed in Rooms 411 & 412 and we found them clean and well cared for The only complaint was a street cat that kept waking us up one of the nights They must've had a talk with it because it was much better behaved the second night Thank you - we would definitely recommend the La Mongolfiera Rooms!!

My mother and I had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to store our bags both before and after checkout which was very helpful. The room was clean, cute and very comfortable. It is right in the center so there is some street noise but this is to be expected and certainly worth the trade off for the location. Importantly, air conditioner worked great and kept room nice and cool during a heat wave. I would certainly stay here again! One note that while there is an elevator, you do have to take one flight of stairs up, the take elevator a few doors, then one more flight of stairs so just keep this in mind if you have mobility challenges or a lot of luggage.
