"Well situated for centre and quay. Friendly and comfortable. Room with shared bathroom but no problem .lovely breakfast and well worth money. Also parking available free on street as car park full so no problem . Enjoyable stay "

"Strange checkin process, reception is at the Hub not in the Hotel, I may have missed communication on this but a lot of walking about just to check in Car chargers need bettering, current type have no instructions and no staff (5 of them) knew how they worked or more importantly released the cable!"

"Absolutely gob-smacked when we arrived at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was fantastic and totally unexpected. Staff were lovely, ambience great and it was just so welcoming. It was a fairly last minute booking, a one night stay and I hadn't really taken much notice of reviews etc. Great regret that I hadn't packed my swim-wear as the pools looked so enticing. Our room was so comfortable, such a shame that we couldn't spend longer there. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and we will definitely make a point of returning to Barnstaple and spending a few days at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was a holiday in itself."
