Unfortunately my room was over a building that had a fan running all night and the pipes ? water pipes were very noisy at times … woke me just after 5 am. The room was however clean and well maintained."

"Lovely hotel, fantastic location, local staff, so doesn’t feel like a chain. Stay only spoiled by one idiot who felt the need to be swearing loudly after his meal, (the c word is unacceptable anywhere), while sitting at the bar in the restaurant. Young team leader tried her best, but the absence of a senior manager on a Saturday night to throw the fool out was a great shame."

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Stayed in the mews which was a five minute walk from the main hotel. Spa was okay, but small. Plus there was an aqua aerobics class going on in the pool blasting Wham. Not very relaxing. Food and drink were as you'd expect from such a location. Recommended"
