Brilliant hotel, excellent service and breakfast through our stay. Perfect location and great beach service. We would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, unfortunately it was high summer in Rio and there were lots of families, normally we would go to adult only hotel during school holidays, our mistake for not checking. I am sure the experience would have been different in the off season, also this hotel is a conference hotel

The best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Rio. The only one that wasn’t full of mosquitoes ☺️ lovely rooftop pool made it feel like a holiday vs hostel.. good air conditioning too.

The location is excellent. A much quieter section of Copcabana.Staff at very good and helpful. Metro about 20min walk. Good places to eat near by. Would definitely stay here again. They do put a charge on your credit card at check in rather than just take card details. Would have been helpful to know this before hand as could have been a problem if not enough credit.

Very clean, friendly staff, we loved everything!! I asked the staff to hold our bags and they were really nice and polite. The only thing I would complain is the air conditioner really high but when I asked them to put it down, they did :)

Terrific location, very near beach and close to shopping and restaurants. Staff are helpful and patient. The breakfasts are very good, served in the restaurant, which is also very good. It is close to a subway station entrance, making travel to other areas easy. The place is minimalist but stylish, bathrooms are rather small, I would recommend taking the largest room you can manage. Beds are comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

Good value in a city where it is hard to find good hotels. Very modern room, very clean and friendly. Small pool but very close to the beach. Excellent breakfast

The staff were very friendly especially Akim who served coffee every breakfast just to my liking!!

Great hotel. A bit away from central Rio but Uber/taxi connections are very good. We particularly enjoyed the roof top pool and adjacent bar.

Hotel Nacional is a huge, modern and impressive looking hotel, but our stay did not get off to the best start. Check in took over 40 minutes after a long flight, and there always seemed to be queues at reception. The guy checking us took 20 minutes and seemed very slow. We'd booked two junior suites rooms and had asked to be on the same floor so our kids could be near us, but were put around 20 floors apart and were told the hotel was full, which was annoying. When you book two rooms how hard...
