"Fantastic place - the main house and grounds were absolutely gorgeous.
Stayed in the new part of the hotel myself due to my lack of mobility - if i remember rightly, there weren't any lifts and l'd struggle carrying my bags up n down stairs.
Lovely staff, nice pool, sauna and steam room. However, could definitely do with a relaxation area - some sunbeds around the pool perhaps.
For a 3 star hotel, considering l actually believed it was 4, it really was exceptional value - great place to take your wife or girlfriend for a birthday surprise.
Oh, also ample free parking - always a bonus, especially nowadays
