Find Dog-Friendly Hotels in Red Light District, Amsterdam

"We got to check in a few hours early which was amazing. The room was clean and very stylish with a view of the canal out front. The lobby has a very convenient area to purchase snacks, drinks and sundries. The only cons were the main entrance is a bit tricky to find at first (it is oddly hidden) and the elevators could take some time to arrive when the lobby gets busy."

"We've stayed here before and have always found it to be very accommodating, comfortable (albeit small rooms) with a very friendly staff. Breakfast is good and pizza in the evening is very nice."

"We arrived in the evening, left before the sun came up, so hard to rate the environment. Airport shuttles were large, very efficient and regularly scheduled, though pickup time at airport could be affected by traffic and busload. 3 person room worked out well for us. Would stay here again for the same purpose of airport departure."

"For such an expensive hotel, I was disappointed that so many things went wrong just on a one night stay. When I checked in at 11:30 at night tired from a long flight, I was immediately asked to handover my passport or driving license as an identification. Not that I mind doing that, but the way I was asked, without a friendly welcome felt rather abrupt. When it came to leaving the deposit, two cards were rejected, that both turned out to have adequate funds on it, and then from my credit card that did work in their system, the deposit was taken out twice. Something the staff was reluctant to admit until I showed them my credit card app. When I came to the room, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, which is to say the browser window didn’t come up so that I could logon. I’ve stayed at many hotels where this is not been a problem, and I know how it works, so it was rather annoying that this was not working as it should. Breakfast in the room in the morning was another disappointment, because part of the order was missing. And when I called down to ask for them to bring the missing part of the order, I was made to feel like they were doing me a favour bringing it up. Once again, none of these things were the end of the world kind of problems, but really not something I expect in it five star or four star Hotel. When I asked when the deposit would be returned they said it could take a couple of days and that that was because of my bank, which is my experience with other Hotels."

"Excellent hotel in prime location! Free bikes so you can explore more! Staff is super friendly gave me a little note and chocolate as well as a late check out so this was much appreciated as I had a late flight. We also had drinks at the Lyan bar which has funky vibes and great cocktails. There is also social hour from 4-5p with free wine or beer. It seems to be a popular place and was fully booked but staff did not seem rushed-they were kind to everyone! Will defo be back !"
