Cooked Breakfast was great! Plenty of choice for continental aswell. Staff very helpful and polite Room was great

Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel and staff

Lovely place, supposedly where Dick Turpin was arrested in 17th century. Quaint. Lovely rooms,- like converted stables - own door to room from car park. Nicely shaped room, with dressing area and clever use of bathroom/toilet door (one door does both). Had evening drink in garden in evening sun. Food was good, with good choice of food and drink. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
