We stayed in 'Viking quarters' which is on 2nd floor above the Goodramgate Apartments shop/office. Apartment is accessed via a side door and up 2 flight of stairs - no problem. We arrived early about 1.30pm but we were able to leave our bags in the apartment and we were given the keys for access after 3pm, after they had finished cleaning. "

"We loved this little apartment! Its location is excellent to walk to all the sights and restaurants of York. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March.
