"We booked the Paddocks which had a self contained very well equipped kitchen in an enclosed courtyard It provided a very comfortable overnight stay. We couldnt fault it. We arrived early as we had booked Sunday lunch at the George which was excellant and Wayne allowed us to leave our car there. Wayne was very friendly and not intrusive at all. "This place is very welcoming and efficient. The staff can't do enough for you. The food is excellent, but unfortunately, we were only able to eat there on our first night. We wanted to do so again, but they don't cook on Bank Holidays. We weren't told this in advance, which is the only slight negative about our stay. . "

It’s in a very convenient location for walking around town. Plenty of cafes etc nearby as well as Sainsbury’s and Co-Op. "

Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. "It is ideally located in centre of town, a park across the road and river that runs by the apartment. The church bells rang on Sunday morning at 11am which was nice. The downside for some would be the noise from the road and bar downstairs but the convenience of being in town centre means there would be some noise so we did not mind. There is 20 mins parking outside in layby by baths or 2 hours across small park to unload then car park has ability to pay 24 hours at a time on phone. It has good...
