"great stay! there was construction going on but it didnt bother us, wasn't loud either. The sauna was beautiful but small and was occupied most of the time. they had a boot drying service that was so helpful after a day of waterfalls! they also do a wakeup call for the northern lights! awesome dinner, and breakfast with the horses in the morning was incredible!"

"We really like the security code system used to enter and leave our room. The manager and staff were super helpful. Our room was impeccably clean. The close proximity to the spectacular waterfall made this an amazing experience. We were also close to the restaurants in Vic and found one that was excellent and just 15 min from the hotel. We’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and stayed at many hotels. If I could, I would give this hotel six stars, it’s that good. Finally, the parking was free, and the breakfast was included and had very healthy food options. Keith&Priscilla , USA"

"We spent one night at Welcome Holiday Homes while driving around Iceland. The unit had a spacious living area with a well-appointed kitchen. The bedroom was on the small side but good enough for a short stay. The pillows and quilts were small and not very warm. An upgrade to the bedding would add comfort to the stay. I suspect the location would be ideal for viewing the northern lights but we did not get to see them due to full cloud coverage."

"This was in a great location for exploring Iceland. The room was very clean and loved the kitchen area to make meals. Only downside is the shared bathroom but we had no issues! Nice to talk to other people in the house but most people were out exploring majority of the day."
