Close to Stogarfoss and easy to walk to it. The Name of the hotel is Hotel Stogarfoss and not Stogarfoss by EJ Hotels. It is easy to be confused with Hotel Stogar by EJ Hotels, which is a different one.

We really like the security code system used to enter and leave our room. The manager and staff were super helpful. Our room was impeccably clean. The close proximity to the spectacular waterfall made this an amazing experience. We were also close to the restaurants in Vic and found one that was excellent and just 15 min from the hotel. We’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and stayed at many hotels. If I could, I would give this hotel six stars, it’s that good. Finally, the parking was free, and the breakfast was included and had very healthy food options. Keith&Priscilla , USA

The location was excellent. The facility is nice. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was mediocre. However, it was very difficult to find with gps directing to wrong location and unclear that it is located in the parking lot of the waterfall. Also for the high price there should be outlets by the bed, tissues, perhaps lotion, water bottles, or robes, or coffee machine in the room. Our waterfall view had a tree blocking the falls and a dumpster in view.

This was a lovely hotel. It was walking distance from Skógafoss! We enjoyed the breakfast (it was delish) and the location was excellent for day trip activities. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing view and restaurant on side was really good, stuff and everything was top top! wish it worked until 12am though, had to rash to get there for last minute booking. But this is a problem in general that all groceries and restaurants close way too early.

Wonderful hotel at the base of the waterfall. Great amenities and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was superb. I have been craving bacon and eggs and I finally got it. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!!

Location right next to the Falls. Close enough to the Reynisfjara Beach and Dyrholaey Closest dining is in Vik about 20 miles away. Hot water had the smell of rotten eggs (from sulfur) which was explained but nevertheless very annoying and some how icky. Breakfast was nice and they had some lovely coffee in the hall way.

The hotel was clean, modern, comfortable and the shower was amazing! The food & drinks in the hotel restaurant were wonderful! Loved our two night stay here - close to Vik, walk to Skógafoss Waterfall which is literally right next to hotel. Breakfast was great too! I would definitely stay here again!
