We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport.

Located just off the main coastal route is convenient but located in basically an industrial area - not scenic. Rooms are clean and functional but although we did not have a major problem ourselves it was obvious that room sound proofing is not the best. I would recommend asking for a first floor room as we had a small herd of elephants above us - luckily they went to bed quickly :) Dining room was nothing like it looked on the website - fine for breakfast but not an evening meal. We never ate in the evening so can not comment on the food standard. Breakfast was plentiful and adequate. Hot tubs were present in a central courtyard but not inviting which was a pity. If looking for a basic pit stop this hotel would suffice.

Room was amazing. Probably the best room I’ve stayed in on my holiday and I’ve stayed in a few. Very clean place, comfy bed and loved the sheets, shower was lush, good hairdryer available, extremely spacious with a sitting area and big TV, helpful staff, plenty of room for parking and a great, quiet breakfast with plenty of options. Only downside for me was they had everything but a kettle yet supplied teabags with a picture of a kettle on the back of the packet. Of course not a big deal but really could have done with one. Would definitely stay here again.

My room was HUGE - apparently I booked a 2br suite without realizing it, but the price was good so yay. Also very well-equipped and modern/updated. The staff was very kind, and the young man even carried my suitcase up the stairs since I have an injured leg (they probably should have an elevator though). Overall a lovely hotel, and I honestly wish I could have stayed another night!

The staff was very friendly at this hotel. The breakfast was ridiculously priced and had honestly pathetic offerings. Yet at the same on site restaurant, the dinner options were amazing and some of the best food we had in Iceland. The lamb stew, lamb steak, and fried fish were absolutely delicious. The parking was easy and more than one lot was available. The location is excellent but don't turn right if you plan to go anywhere. As of August 2027, at least, there is is major construction but if you go left you will get to the main riads faster.

Stayed here on our way to catch the ferry to Westmann Islands. Close to Valhalla restaurant which is a fun place for dinner & to see their saga display & try axe throwing! Helpful staff found us another room when first room had a smell/odour issue. Breakfast was good. Easy parking.
