We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience. You are greeted with baked goods and the Owner's two dogs. Such a unique little gem. It's the perfect stop between Reykjavík and Vik, and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Not too many food options nearby, but included kitchenette helps. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hot tub is a huge plus. Anna was very helpful and had fresh bread in the check in area when we arrived. Our little suite was perfect for my husband, daughter and I. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. My daughter loved the dogs and being so close to the ponies.
