This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room are completely outdated the pillows were old and the mattress was super hard. The AC made a loud noise all night and barely cooled the room we as to turn on the fan. The room fridge had a water,beer and soda if you drank it they would charge you additional seriously what happened to all inclusive !!!! We had to pay for the safe per day which never worked. Food was so so only had 3 restaurant and the food was not great.

The hotel staff were very very nice! From Michel, Elvin, to Veronica and the Animation team. Everyone was nice. The Guest Services guys is a little straight forward and mean faced (can be a little nicer). The room is a little worn (some things were messed up or broken). Some times the restaurants did not know what was going on (El dorado a la carte breakfast). Had to pay an extra $12 per person for early check in which never happened to us any place else. ALSO, no on ever has change so BRING SINGLES.

Went for 5 days. To begin with, we arrived at 11:40am and ck in isn’t until 3pm so we had to pay $35 for early ck in. There is plenty to do near the hotel such as 27 waterfalls, the teleférico, múltiple excursions . It is an outdated small resort which needs some esthetic upgrades. Other than the VIP rooms which the pushy salespeople try to sell you, our room was so-so. the bathroom is extremely small and no ventilation. However The rooms are spacious with a built in safe which you have to pay for daily. No free WiFi anywhere so you gotta pay for that! There is a beautiful bar at the lobby of the hotel but guess what, you gotta pay for that unless you are VIP...somuch for All inclusive! staff is absolutely amazing, from entertainment and bartenders, waiters (that made the trip more comfortable). Animations crew were amazing and so much fun, Alfredo, Veronica , Edwin and DJ Pedro kept us going throughout the day! The food was pretty good. There is plenty for all kinds of for everyone. The snack shack (open 24 hours) only has French fries and fried chicken all day long so no variety there. They did have a lobster night while we were there but guess what? extra $40 per person.We didn’t get to use the spa (typical resort prices) The gym - super tiny with no A/C ... just a large fan , 2 treadmills, 1 bike and some dumbbells . Overall, I would give it 2 1/2 stars only because of the service. Especially The bartenders Marlenna and Edwin were great! I probably wouldn’t go back

Cheap but ok

This was a cheap getaway for my wife & I and another couple. The rate was cheap so we upgraded to platinum ( which was well worth it) the room was decent ant the staff would help with any problems that occurred. The swim up bar was nice, the drinks were ok unless you upgraded to platinum and went to the premium bar in the lobby for top shelf drinks. All &all it was worth the money and we had a nice time

You get one key card and you have to put it in a slot on the wall to make the air conditioner work. You cannot leave the air conditioner on and go out and get back in the room. If one goes out and the other stays in the room to nap you have to wake them up to get back in the room. Energy conservation is great, but if I knew this before booking I would have made another choice.

Worst hotel I have been to do far

First day we paid for early which we didnt get our room until I complained to the manager.room service came to clean our room at 5:00pm when we told her slto give us a few min since it was so latw she laught and left , I can and spoke to the receptionist and he said they were going to send some one, we came back to the room at 8pm and rokm was still not clean, fridge in the room not working , confort dirty, no internarional drink ,not even at the bar where we had to pay. Thw staff is too serious , I felt like I was ib a retariment home instead of a vacation ,ill not return to this hotel nor recomended to any one who is looking foe a great vacation.
