Went for 5 days. To begin with, we arrived at 11:40am and ck in isn’t until 3pm so we had to pay $35 for early ck in.
There is plenty to do near the hotel such as 27 waterfalls, the teleférico, múltiple excursions . It is an outdated small resort which needs some esthetic upgrades. Other than the VIP rooms which the pushy salespeople try to sell you, our room was so-so. the bathroom is extremely small and no ventilation. However The rooms are spacious with a built in safe which you have to pay for daily. No free WiFi anywhere so you gotta pay for that! There is a beautiful bar at the lobby of the hotel but guess what, you gotta pay for that unless you are VIP...somuch for All inclusive! staff is absolutely amazing, from entertainment and bartenders, waiters (that made the trip more comfortable). Animations crew were amazing and so much fun, Alfredo, Veronica , Edwin and DJ Pedro kept us going throughout the day!
The food was pretty good. There is plenty for all kinds of for everyone. The snack shack (open 24 hours) only has French fries and fried chicken all day long so no variety there. They did have a lobster night while we were there but guess what? extra $40 per person.We didn’t get to use the spa (typical resort prices) The gym - super tiny with no A/C ... just a large fan , 2 treadmills, 1 bike and some dumbbells . Overall, I would give it 2 1/2 stars only because of the service. Especially The bartenders Marlenna and Edwin were great! I probably wouldn’t go back
