beautiful but a bit rustic
the ocean view was fantastic. the balcony and the walkways down to the beach were in poor repair. Many trip hazards! The staff helped repair a broken screen, but it did not feel as if repairs were attended to before our arrival. For the price, I think these things should have been better.

Wonderful time!
The property was as advertised: beautiful beach view and frontage with plenty of sea breezes. The villa was clean and the set up was great for the two of us, with each having our own bedroom and bath. The wraparound deck provided shade or sun and protection from the winds as we wished at various times of the day. Very much appreciated the kayak availability -- had much fun playing in the surf!

Great Property

Lovely beach cottage
Great beach cottage, this is our second year coming. They have cleaned up the beach of an area of big shells/rocks directly in front which made it much nicer to play in the water with the kids! It isn’t a fancy condo, but very clean and comfortable and the location is perfect.

Beautiful and relaxing place
We absolutely loved this villa! It has everything that is needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We love that there was laundry facilities available. It was quiet and serene. Most days we had the beach to ourselves.

Amazing retreat
Crystal clear blue water. Your own little of piece of heaven...Away from the noisy resorts on the south side of the island. Very clean villa and spacious...perfect for 3-4 people. Only 7-8 minutes away from Grace Bay. Highly recommend

Beautiful quiet property.
I’m not sure you can beat this ocean front property for the price but keep in mind that food is 3X the US cost. You can bring whatever food you look to TCI. There is a lovely balcony, large downstairs patio and you walk right out to a nearly private beach. There are three villas: 2 in the larger building (we stayed upstairs) and a cottage next door. It is completely relaxing and Lita, the gracious housekeeper was there most days with light housekeeping and fresh towels 3 days out of our 1 week stay. This place i provides total relaxation. You will need a rental car and parking is readily available. There is a functioning grill but the nicer Weber pictured did not work. The book on-site gives the name of a Concierege who was pretty responsive and a handyman who was pleasant but did not follow through on repairing blinds that obstructed one ocean-view window. There were no bikes but the sand is soft so you can’t bike in the beach here anyway. If vrbo allowed, I would rate this property 4.5 out of 5

Great location.
Great location right on long bay Beach. Perfect for kitesurfers, rigged and launched directly in front of unit 50 yards or so from unit. Stayed in upper level of 2 level unit, with wrap around deck. Great for sunrise and sunset views. Owners very quick to respond to questions and needs. Will be back next year.

A great location. Good size property. Good value.
We did enjoy our stay at Long Bay. Because of the consistent wind it was a shame the shutters couldn’t open and close easily. The wind was very noisy in the sea facing bedroom whistling through the gaps. 2 singles beds with the option of putting them together, would be useful. A curtain in the lounge to block out the morning sun. We couldn’t close the lounge shutters.

Great Location!
House was in a great location with very private beach access. Check-in/out was very easy and getting to the property was in good proximity of the airport. Villa was in close proximity to all adventures and activities. Host was very responsive and attended to our needs as someone looking to enjoy the entire island. This location is great for someone looking for private, secluded location to relax and enjoy life on the beach!

Location!
The amazing thing about this property is its location. Walk out to the beautiful water & enjoy! It is so peaceful & quiet. I walked every day on the beach. There are kayaks, snorkel & other beach equipment to use. There are also bikes. I did not mind that A/C is only in the bedrooms because there are ceiling fans & a great breeze through the sliding glass door. The housekeepers are so so sweet. We’ll be back!

Lovely beachfront cottage
Had a great stay, cool ocean breeze/sounds through the window at night, beach was a bit rocky/wavy as expected due to the wind which was perfect for kite boarding. Already planning our next visit!

Mind-blowing
What an awesome property!!! My kids, wife and I had a blast. The beach is almost private given rarely you will see anyon there besides the occasional horseback riding groups or parasilers. Spent most of my mornings on the 360 balcony, sipping on coffee and enjoying the view. Will definitely try to get the same place once we go back.

Quiet, secluded, and right on the beach
Found the place to be just as described by the Owner. It was clean, located in a secluded spot right in the center of Long Bay beach where we could listen to the waves lap the shore every night. Haven't slept that well in a long time. Place isn't flash, and the couches are probably getting a bit long in the tooth and approaching their use-by date, but for a beach cottage, I had no complaints. Ray was there to assist us w/ any questions, and the Owners were likewise responsive. Would go back to this place in a minute. Just what we'd hoped for. Thanks again Sarah and Chris!

Good--Location, Responsiveness or property manager to issues/concerns, lots of room to spread out/move around, A/C in bedrooms, isolated/secluded Beach, lots of privacy Bad--NO AIR COND IN LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA/ KITCHEN, Ants in kitchen every day, Beds are really firm (on a scale of 1-10, beds are 9), only 1 small television in living room/dining area where there is NO A/C Not so Beautiful--Insufficient booking instructions (no driving directions/no street address was given in our booking confirmation, the WIFI password was not made available to us either), Windows make a lot of noise due to the windiness of the location, Internet went down last night of our stay, Water went completely out the 2nd day of our stay, Bathrooms need a serious remodel

Beautiful location, very clean property
I agree with a previous poster that I am caught between 4 and 5 stars. With just a few simple upgrades, this would be a 5 star property. The location is amazing and the beach is just perfect for sitting and enjoying the water. However, the furnishings and decor are very basic. Literally, new curtains, painting the cabinets, a new table cloth, and tidying up the outside (e.g. broken A/C unit near front door), and a better TV would take this up a notch. However, then it might not be as affordable. The internet was fine and the I found the beds comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would have appreciated a few kitchen supplies like salt/pepper and sugar since it's so expensive to buy that stuff on the island (hint - bring this stuff along with you). Housekeeping services were great. Overall, this location was basic but great and I would stay here again.

Stunning Location
Overall the location was stunning and housekeeper was lovely. Highly recommend this property as you will spend majority of the time outside. I would give it 5/5 but felt the place needed some upgrades. For instance, there were some chipped coffee mugs, some of the cookware didn't appear to work with the stove and the couch looked a like worn. You expect a higher quality interior for the price.

Secluded and a perfect place to decompress and disconnect!!
We had such a great time in TCI and this villa was a perfect place to be. When you are the only person within a mile view for a beach sunrise, then you have picked the right place. We would definitely go back!!

Wonderful Location!
I write this review with mixed feelings; on one hand, the location right on Long Bay (we were on the 2nd floor with the lovely balcony), the privacy and relative seclusion of the villa and the space and cleanliness were all top notch; on the other hand, although this property is listed as 'budget', it seems like just addressing just a few small issues would make this a 5 star review! The beds were really not comfortable, and replacing them with decent quality kings would be appreciated. The indoor furniture was also not comfortable, and not particularly nice quality. While television isn't all that important, there really should be at least 1 reasonably usable TV with more than 3 or 4 cable channels. Our limited experience was that the existing setup is unwatchable. Also the wifi should be better than the 5-10 feet of range now available. With those criticisms aside, this is an amazing location and the price is reasonable. None of the criticisms are deal breakers, it just seems to us that such a beautiful and clean villa deserves better...

Nice private spot with lovely ocean views but badly needs an internet and Satellite TV upgrade
Nice private spot with all the basics covered. The condo could use some additions in the kitchen (such as more pots and pans and even a dishwasher). The only real complaint is that the satellite TV and internet service is HORRIBLE. This is 2017, there is just no excuse for super slow internet service and TV reception that can not reliably broadcast a sporting event such as american football. The unit has the "bronze plan" TV service which DOES NOT even include ESPN.
