"This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. "Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication."

"I have stayed in a lot of different houses and had never had such a terrible experience.The key lock was jammed and wouldn't open. Contacted the "owner" and requested assistance...very poor response, had to wait over 2hrs for any assistance. House itself is terribly run down, uninhabitable and unsafe.Warning - there is no safety switch or circuit breaker at this property. A gas heater downstairs that didn't work, and even if it did it's awfully old and there is no carbon monoxide alarm. The...

"We spent the long weekend at this lovely property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was impeccably clean and had all the amenities we needed. Each of the four beds was king-sized and incredibly comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. We’ll definitely return if we visit Canberra again."
