A beautiful historic hotel. Great staff, great food in the restaurant. The breakfast menu could have had more variety but was sufficient. A lovely place to stay. Would love to stay here again.

Lovely heritage hotel, room was immaculate and clean and staff were friendly. Maintenance is required however as it’s quite tired and the furniture in some areas was a bit worn. Probably better value out there but nice to try once.

I would return to the Hyatt in a heartbeat. Old school charm without the chintz feels. Elegant. Staff were lovely especially Ben in reception. Facilities were great. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had the best amenities and shower pressure. Will try the breakfast next time. It was too busy (school hols). They even have a hotel dog Pixie (lab). V happy and impressed and it’s now my favourite Canberra hotel.

Wonderful location - by the lake. Beautifully restored and still has the great sense of history. Accessible entrance is at the rear of the hotel- call ahead and concierge can meet you there ot assist with luggage

Good hotel for a quick visit to Canberra close to national monuments. The breakfast had lota of good quality options and drinks in Speakers Corner were nice. The hotel is a lovely art deco space and I would recommend for a hotel centred stay.
