It’s a beautiful 100-year-old building that’s been thoughtfully renovated. My room was comfortable, well-sized, and had everything I needed. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and spotless with a large bathtub. The only downside was that the windows couldn’t be opened, as I like some fresh air in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with a chef preparing omelettes, poached, and fried eggs to order. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. We also had an awards dinner at the hotel as part of the conference, which was very well done. As a historic hotel it definitely has a different kind of feel than your regular hotels. My only issue was that we didn't get the room that we had booked on Expedia. I requested one king bed which is clearly said on my reservation, but the hotel had it listed as two twin beds, which really wasn't ideal since we were there for our wedding anniversary.
