Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (1002)
"After an 5 hour drive and long traffic delays at Birmingham we arrived at 1.30am and was welcomed by smiling faces by which was lovely. The room was clean and spacious which was needed as it was 3 sharing. The bed was comfortable, As we arrive late and went to bed late. We went to
breakfast
at 10.25 as it finish serving at 10.30. Although they had not cleared any
food
the waitress was not happy that we arrived, she was moody and not very welcoming which made both my sisters feel uncomfortable...

Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel

4.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (1000)
"It was an ok stay. The family room was massive which the kids loved, everything was just a bit tired and dated but clean which is the main thing.
Breakfast
was poor. Continental option was limited to say the least and the cooked to order option left something to be desired. Staff were pleasant enough and it was fine for a motorway stop but save your money on
breakfast
!"
