"They let me check in early which was really nice and everything was just as shown. The only thing I totally missed was no air conditioning but that is on me.
It was a great experience. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, the hotel was very clean. The room was small but fine for one person. It’s a quirky place in terms of decor which I liked. I thought the buffet was OK but the selection was average. The fellow who checked me in on Saturday afternoon was very charming, helpful, and informative."

Very clean. Very helpful staff. Great shared facilities. Very affordable. Only thing is there are no points to directly charge with a usb cable, but staff happily offered a charger. Great experience overall.

Nice hotel.nicest in the area.quiet.great German tapas bar next door.the comfort room is adequate but the shower was quite small and only 2 english TV channels. Tram stop right outside. Only 2 stops to town centre.spa in the basement is great but under used/promoted.breakfast has many choices but plates small (saucer size) so go up twice.would definitely go back.

Lovely relaxed hotel. Only one coffee per person per stay which was a little disappointing but only 1 Euro after that so not expensive. Would definitely stay again, very spacious, clean and lovely decor.

Stayed in the Schoenhouse apartments for 3 nights and it was just perfect ,well located about 10 minutes walk to the TV tower which incidently costs 13 euros per adult and has to be pre-booked! about 40 minutes walk to the Reichstag again this has to be prebooked but entry is free ,Taxi from Tegel airport took about 20 minutes and was 24 euros .Staff were very friendly and helpful and also spoke English ,very unfussy place ,laid back modern accomodation ,spacious and clean ,although not cleaned...

I have been to Berlin to several times over many years and can honestly say that Old Town Hotel is the best accommodation I have found in the city and would highly recommend staying there.
The location is excellent; 5 minutes on the tram to Alexanderplatz where you can get the S or U bahn to pretty much anywhere in the city. Also within walking distance of Volkspark Freidrichshain and the many bars and restaurants of Prenzlauer Berg.

Hotel is located on a quiet street and easy enough to find, and close to the tramway system (U-bahn). Small reception but friendly and helpful staff with good English. Comfortable room with good facilities. Large restaurant (considering size of hotel) for breakfast and option to eat outside too.

This is a budget hotel, very central. Rooms equipped with bare minimum for your stay ( towels, bedlinen, hairdryer). Very nice buffet breakfast served till midday. There is also a bar, so you can have a drink before bed. You can walk to Alexander Platz, but be aware it is 4 stops by tram.
