We absolutely loved our stay! Prague is such a gorgeous city, and the hotel was just as lovely. It was beautiful, clean, and welcoming, with an amazing breakfast selection and such a lovely variety of options (and coffee machine was very good!). The apartment was perfect with nice comfortable bed, kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. We had a trVel washing line with us with pegs so could hang things up in bathroom. Could of done with a non slip mat in the shower but I never asked reception as I am sure they would of supplied one if I had asked.

Perfect location! So close to Charles Bridge but away from the crowds. Easy walking distance to all locations, so we did not bother with transport but was on the door step. Hotel staff very pleasant especially the receptionist who seemed to be there full time! Breakfast was great, with a good choice and great coffee. The afternoon soup etc was a bonus. If we were to visit Prague again we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location, super rooms and great staff. Had a wonderful two day break with the kids and would fully recommend everything about the accommodation. Didn’t try the breakfast but did try out the family restaurant on the ground floor and that was well worth a visit.

We've just returned from our first trip to Prague and first stay at this wonderful hotel and can't praise it highly enough!
Nestled in the walls of the castle, the Golden Well is full of charm and character and only 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge in one direction and 10 minutes from the castle gates in the other direction. Perfect!

We were attracted by the consistently good reviews, and the prices seeming a little lower than equivalent hotels in the middle of the Old Town (Essence is south-east of the Powder Tower, so I guess it counts as Nové Město?). The reviews are fully deserved – it's a really lovely hotel.

Located at the end of Charles bridge made this hotel in perfect location. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. There was a coffee machine in your room but also the tea and coffee machine was on 24/7 from breakfast. There was complementary pastries on offer in the lobby at all times too. I really couldn’t fault this cozy little hotel apart from the lift being out of order while we were there and being in the top floor.

Lovely hotel, centrally situated. Within 10 mins walk to charles bridge. The hotel itself has all the amenities you would expect in a 4/5 star hotel. The staff are amazing esp the receptionist. She went out of her way to book us taxis, tours, restaurant reservations, all at good prices. Would definitely stay there again.

Alice and Romana were absolutely excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We even overslept one morning and missed the breakfast window. However, they allowed us to eat with the staff half an hour later ❤️
They also let us leave our suitcases with them after check-out time which was super helpful as we had an evening flight home.
Romana also helped us sort out our airport transfer despite there being nothing in for the hotel… thank you 🙏

Really good position ,right next to the castle, half way up a quite steep hill.
Welcomed with a choice of beer or sparkling wine...the beer won!
Rooms are very nicely fitted out, and now with air con (Prague was well in the 30s when we were there) we had a side room facing the castle, which had a small window so no real view.
