We absolutely loved our stay! Prague is such a gorgeous city, and the hotel was just as lovely. It was beautiful, clean, and welcoming, with an amazing breakfast selection and such a lovely variety of options (and coffee machine was very good!). Every member of staff we encountered was pleasant, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Outstandingly warm welcome. Friendly staff took time to listen to our questions and give us helpful advice. Quiet location within easy walking distance of Prague Castle, Loreta and Petrin Tower . Tram 22 from the nearby square, runs near the Charles Bridge and takes you over the river (seemed to run every few minutes and was extremely cheap!).

We had a wonderful stay at the Unitas Hotel. The hotel was so pristine in the general areas and our rooms. The photos on Expedia do not do it justice. The reception staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast we had had a great choice and it was well presented and tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there should we go back to Prague. Give it go !

We've just returned from our first trip to Prague and first stay at this wonderful hotel and can't praise it highly enough! Nestled in the walls of the castle, the Golden Well is full of charm and character and only 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge in one direction and 10 minutes from the castle gates in the other direction. Perfect location! So close to Charles Bridge but away from the crowds. Easy walking distance to all locations, so we did not bother with transport but was on the door step. Hotel staff very pleasant especially the receptionist who seemed to be there full time! Breakfast was great, with a good choice and great coffee. The afternoon soup etc was a bonus. If we were to visit Prague again we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay as a family in Prague. Close enough to everything but in a quieter area near to train station. Suite was very spacious with great amenities. Would definitely stay here again when back in Prague

Fantastic hotel. Very good location minutes from Charles bridge on the not tacky side. Staff couldn't do enough to help. The room was amazing. We had free wifi, an Apple TV with lots of movies and a very good selection of music. There was also an iPad available to browse the Internet.

This hotel has to be one of the best hotels i have personally stayed in. The staff went above and beyond with everything. Prior to my arrival they help me organise trips arrange meals as special surprises for my partners visit. on arrival staff could not do enough for you. They even left there work stations to give us a quick tour of the unique monks brewery cave like converted to a bar at the bottom of the hotel. Simply Excellent in every way possible. Exactly what we were looking for with this hotel and it didn't disappoint. Full of charm and art deco character, it felt like stepping back in time to when hotels were grand and oppulent, but with full modern convenience and luxury. We were attracted by the consistently good reviews, and the prices seeming a little lower than equivalent hotels in the middle of the Old Town (Essence is south-east of the Powder Tower, so I guess it counts as Nové Město?). The reviews are fully deserved – it's a really lovely hotel. This was our second visit to this Hotel, the first was a couple of years ago before the recent interior update. Really good position ,right next to the castle, half way up a quite steep hill. Welcomed with a choice of beer or sparkling wine...the beer won! The experience was one of the best I ever had in a city break: the hotel staff are professional, helpful, attentive, caring. We stayed here for a second time recently. The hotel is as good as if not better than on our last visit some years ago. Large and spotlessly clean room with all facilities. Although the hotel is very close to Old Town Square and above a main (pedestrianised) street, the room was well insulated and very quiet. No fripperies in the hotel (saunas, beauty parlours etc), but staff were excellent and so was the breakfast. The hotel is small enough to be off-limits to the endless tourist groups...
