Spicers was the highlight of our stay in Australia. We loved the boutique feel of the hotel. Everything aspect of the hotel was beautifully done, offering a stylish 5 star experience , rather than glitzy ostentatious frills. All of the staff were super friendly and super helpful. Nothing was too much. We would have loved to have stayed for longer as we felt so at home. A worthy alternative to the big hotel chains. The hotel was well located for bars and restaurants within walking distance....

Did not really cater for evening meal very well. Felt like something they had to do but heart not real Ly in it.

This hotel is a wonderful base for exploring Sydney, just a few streets away from a lovely walk through the Botanic Gardens to the Opera House and Circular Quays. The staff are unfailingly helpful, and the facilities are very good. Excellent value for money.

Stayed here for 6 nights and it was really nice! Only a 5-10 min walk to kings cross station. You can walk to circular key through the botanical gardens and it takes about 30 mins. Very clean! I was travelling solo and had a small double room which was big enough! If there was 2 people with lots of luggage you might want a slightly bigger room. They also run a 14 dollar shuttle bus back to the airport :) Would recommend staying here!

Before leaving the UK, we read a lot of mixed reviews about the Springfield, to noicy, bad location, toilets to small. Well you get what you pay for, and to be honest I have stayed in a lot lot worse places , locations. My wife and I loved staying at the Springfield, the staff were superb, especially the one that loved my Scottish accent, the room was small but ample for our needs, no problems with the toilet, shower was great, room was cleaned and tidied daily. GOOD LOCATION, EASY R$EACH OF BUSES AND TRAINS, HOTEL DOES AN AIRPORT TRANSFER FOR $14 ROOM CLEANED TO PERFECTION EVERY DAY. WOULD BOOK AGAIN

The staff here really are fantastic and are eager to help. The room is basic but it is comfortable. The duvet does however need replacing as the new white sheets exposed the scarily yellow and stained duvet, hence why I can't give this review 5 stars.

It is a great place for a typical low-budget girls backpackers. One thing I noticed straight away is the great vibe and positive atmosphere all around. The rooms themselves are simple but have everything that is needed for a good sleep. There is a shared kitchen and an outdoor 'chill area'. So good that it's only female hostel, I feel myself safe)
