Located in Potts Point, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Woolloomooloo Wharf, Royal Botanic Gardens and The Domain. Circular Quay and Hyde Park are also within 1 mi (2 km). Kings Cross Station is 9 minutes by foot and Martin Place Station is 19 minutes.
The location was perfect on a bustling, interesting spot. The fit out of the hotel was cool and new.
The spaces within the hotel were all compact like a hotel in the Marais in Paris.
We stayed on a weekend and the were quite a few loud drunk guys using the hotel. I didn’t feel very comfortable to use the shared bathroom with them all banging around and no concierge present however, they seemed to be ok in the end.
There was a vomit in the floor in bathroom on Sunday morning but to the credit of the hotel staff, it was quickly cleaned up.
Overall, value for money despite the down sides.
This is a nice well located hotel with great staff who make it clear they are there to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is however one thing i have to comment on and that is the shared bathroom situation. The bathroons are private and good quality and sharing is not a big deal except that the comings and goings of other guests is very noisy and seriously disrupts sleep. This is because the bedroom door and the bathroom door locks are very stiff and the doors themselves very heavy. That coupled with guests showering very late at night (1am) and very early in the morni ng (5am) meant that we got very little undisturbed sleep. So dispite comfy rooms and lovely staff i personally would avoid a shared bathroom.
