"Very helpful staff helped save us on parking by explaining the parking permit we needed for street parking also covered the area near the theater we were visiting and meant we could park very close to that without paying an extra charge. The room was a little worn but was comfortable enough and provided what we needed for a one night stay. Very close to the beach, although we didn't use that, I could see this being a good place to base a young family for a seaside holiday. Plenty of food options nearby too"

"Breakfast was very good, it should be for £18 ! But iguess is the going rate. We had a sea view balcony room, i felt there should be a fridge and a few more useful bits in the bathroom. No water or Internet unless you join the meropol club. Staff were very helpful and friendly, can't fault them. "

"Last time I had issues with check in as it took too long and the receptionist spent the entire time counting money and complaining about her colleagues (unprofessional). This time it was quick and the receptionist (a Czech woman) was lovey and efficient. Still a bit noisy as you can hear people on the landing and in other rooms and the pillows are more like tissue paper. Regardless, a good stay. Very affordable for the area with a nice bar and bar staff."

"Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit worse for wear (side table missing a leg, chair for table very unstable and the bathroom taps were degrading). However, bedding was clean and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. For the price we paid, it was good quality."
