Lovely location, staff very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and well stocked with coffee etc. View from our room was stunning and the temperature in the room was perfect, the ability to open the window at night was good. The menu was not the largest and didn't change through the week but the food we did have was excellent.

Beautiful setting, excellent food,comfortable room with a great view, informative distillery tour and no obligation to purchase.

We arrived in darkness and were welcomed into a cosy bar with an open fire and comfy lounge area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and had even offered to prepare us a meal as we wouldn’t be arriving before the kitchen closed at 9pm. The room was beautiful and I loved the style, a lovely nip of whiskey awaited us and some shortbread. The room was immaculate with cosy dressing gowns. Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better

We had the pleasure of staying with Marion & Moray recently. We survived the applecross pass drive! The complementary wee dram was very welcome after the drive & fighting the midges while watching the sunset at the beach. We were in a top floor room.
