"Nice friendly staff when checking in. The ladies helping at breakfast were so nice and the breakfast was greatly appreciated."

"This property was so unique with such an amazing view. Unfortunately availability of food and beverage was not what we expected. The bar closed earlier than listed and when we asked hotel staff if we could buy a glass of wine, we were told no. A small shop in the lobby with bottles of water, wine, snacks would have been a great addition. Also, one of the 2 saunas was broken, only one bathrobe provided per room and there was a broken shower shelf."

"Uig Hotel was excellent. We had a lodge room on the first floor. It had a very large window so you can make the most of the amazing view The staff were great, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had our dog with us so ate breakfast and dinner in the bar. The food was really good -with a good selection of fresh sea food."

"The room is clean but small. We could smell the coffee from our room when breakfast begins at 7pm. There is no refrigerator in our room, which is fine for us, as it is not hot summer yet. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs is terrific - we had the dinner and every dish was very well prepared, e.g. the authentic Scottish Grille, the black tempura pudding. The view in front of the dining room is amazing - either on light rainy day or blue sunny sky. Only wish the parking lot is bigger and the room is more updated."

"Beautiful little house conveniently located right next to all the shops and restaurants in town. Super comfortable bed. Washer was handy. You can use the clothesline in the backyard when it doesn’t rain. Helpful info… Keybox is located BEHIND the side door near a small shed. To LOCK the door you must first pull the handle UP, THEN TURN THE KEY TO LOCK. There is no shampoo. These are small things that do not detract from the quaint little house. We felt right at home here."
