"Not a very friendly welcome and no help with luggage ( no elevator). Friendly breakfast gal and a pub and eatery downstairs and right next door. Waterfront walk if weather is nice"

"We stayed in the Churchill Room which was very comfortable. The food was fantastic with a great choice of wines. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. "

Harbour View room, top floor, has decent views of the beach and small harbour. Bathroom door handle needed a neater repair, room lock was a bit tricky and temporary heater had a broken foot. Super staff and breakfast was fine. Dining room view of the harbour great.

Fabulous location, good food, nice staff.
Bedroom door had terrible squeak, saw the handyman and he said he would fix it, but didn’t! In the morning took a long time to check out as the computer would not upload, it was 9.30! Parking £6.50 a night, not stated on the booking🙄

Property was quiet, a bit of noise from, other guests but only to be expected.
This is quite a large hotel but we visited in February so I cannot vouch for what it is like in summer.
Location is good and is convenient for beach, supermarkets and public transport.
The staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly.
We would visit again.

We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable.
Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers.
There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins.
The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition.
All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive.
We would love to return!
